Our Leadership

NKC Chairman, Dr. Vinh Tran, is a Vietnamese British expert who has more than 20 year living in the United Kingdom. When he was living in Vietnam, he used to be a professor of Polytechnique University before he moved to UK and joined Ove Arup & Partners, one of the world leading consulting engineering firms.

During 21 year working here, he had undertaken numbers of major projects all around the world, in various fields of disciplines includes bridge, highway, civil & industrial, building and, especially, he is an outstanding expert in seism engineering. He also had assigned to be Project Manager for many of major projects in many different places in the world.

In 1996, he was assigned to work for an ODA project in Hanoi to assist Vietnam Construction Ministry to build the Vietnam construction standards. In 2000, he held the position of Resident Project Manager for Vietnam Urban Transportation Improvement Project in Ho Chi Minh City. Besides, he had also been Project Manager for numbers of Arup major projects in high rise building in Vietnam before become Chairman of NKC.

NKC has a strong technical team of Vietnamese high qualified engineers who graduated from the major universities in Vietnam. They also have firmly technical capabilities gained from the opportunities of working alongside with international experts who come from world leading firms which NKC has collaborated with.
